Foundress and first Headmistress of Holy Cross College
Sister Augustine Marie, CSE (1905-1976), was a visionary educator and the founding headmistress of Holy Cross Girls High School, established in 1951. With a deep commitment to service, she dedicated her life to nurturing young minds and instilling values of compassion and selflessness. Her guiding principle, “Happiness lies in forgetting self and serving others,” reflects her belief in the transformative power of education and community. Under her leadership, the school blossomed into a haven of learning and personal growth, leaving an enduring legacy that continues to inspire generations.

Our participation in national important days, such as International Mother Language Day and Independence Day, allows us to honor our heritage while instilling a sense of national pride among our members.
