At the helm of the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, Ms. Fahmina Hasin carries forward a tradition of intellect and integrity that defines generations of Crossians. Her journey with Holy Cross began in 2005 when she joined the Department of English- where her thoughtful teaching and quiet influence have shaped countless young minds.
Today, as Head of the Department of English and a Member of the College Governing Body, she continues to uphold the College’s values with composure and conviction. Beyond academia, her role as Vice President of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Urbana reflects her enduring commitment to service and community.
A resolute Spartan, Ms. Hasin embodies grace with strength- an unwavering presence devoted to the ideals that make Holy Cross a legacy of excellence and faith.

Sharaban Tohura
Vice President
Sharaban Tohura is a youth development enthusiast and feminist from Bangladesh with over eleven years of experience empowering youth- especially women and women with disabilities. She currently serves as an Advisor for Nijera Kori and previously worked as a Senior Specialist at BRAC Skills Development Programme, promoting gender equity and inclusion through GESI strategies.
She designs and leads training programs on soft skills, disability inclusion, reproductive health, and digital literacy, while collaborating with grassroots groups to advance women’s leadership and social awareness. A dual Master’s degree holder in English Literature and English Language Teaching, and an alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s Community Solutions Program, she continues to champion education and equity.
A visionary Trojan, Sharaban reflects courage, empathy, and purpose in every sphere of her work.

Ms. Fahiba Farhin serves as the Treasurer of the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, where she oversees financial stewardship and supports initiatives that advance student empowerment and community development. Her involvement with HCCAA began in 2018, and from 2021 to 2024 she contributed as Corresponding Secretary, demonstrating her steady commitment to the Association’s growth.
Professionally, Ms. Farhin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University, having previously taught at IUBAT and UITS. Her academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, IoT Security, and Smart Application Development.
A vibrant Trojan, she remains deeply connected to Holy Cross- once a Student Council President, Sports Leader, and Science Club member- continuing to reflect its values of leadership, integrity, and service in every endeavor.

Ms. Agatha Gomes has been part of the British Council since 1998, contributing her dedication and professionalism to an organization known for its global impact in education and cultural exchange. Her years of service reflect consistency, integrity, and a passion for meaningful collaboration.
As Recording Secretary of the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, she brings clarity, organization, and commitment to every endeavor, helping to strengthen the bridge between past and present Crossians.

Ms. Zahra Parvin Tazrin completed her Secondary School education at Holy Cross School in 2017 and her Higher Secondary studies at Holy Cross College in 2019. During her time at the College, she was an active participant in extracurricular activities- excelling in debate, leadership, and sports; and served as the founding General Secretary of the Holy Cross College English Language Club, a platform dedicated to enhancing students’ communication and creative expression.
After graduation, Ms. Tazrin began her professional journey and is currently serving at British American Tobacco (BAT) Bangladesh.
A graceful Trojan, she reflects the modern Crossian spirit-poised, articulate, and passionately driven to carry the legacy of Holy Cross forward with purpose and elegance.
