Ms. Najma Haque, a valued member of HCCAA, served under the Ministry of Education from 1971 to 2008, retiring as Professor and Principal of a government college. On deputation, she worked with UNICEF, monitoring and evaluating national programs in education, health, and rural development, and helped revive the Nakshi Kantha as part of a UDR project in greater Jessore. Her outstanding service earned her recognition as Best Principal, Khulna Division.
She completed her early schooling at Holy Cross School and her SSC from Viqarunnisa Noon School; holds Honours and Master’s degrees in Geography and Environment (First Class Second and First Class Last); and earned a Diploma in Population and Sustainable Development from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, under a UNFPA scholarship.
An alumna of Holy Cross College, Ms. Haque enjoys singing, sports, stamp collection, and reading. A true Spartan, she embodies discipline, grace, and a lifelong passion for learning.

Ms. Nazneen Begum has been actively associated with the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association since 2001, contributing with dedication and continuity. After returning to Bangladesh from the United States, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs (BILIA) and as a Consultant with HB Consultant and the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC).
She spent sixteen years in the United States, where she continued her education in Public Administration and later Accounting, and built a significant part of her career in the banking sector, primarily with Bank of America. During this time, she also completed a Diploma in Population Growth and Sustainable Development under a UNFPA scholarship, earning distinction, through the University of Delhi at CDS, Kerala.
Earlier, Ms. Begum completed her SSC from Azimpur Girls' High School, her HSC from Holy Cross College, and later earned her Master’s in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.

Ms. Sonia Imran is an educationist and social leader dedicated to empowering others through learning and service. A graduate in International Relations from the University of Dhaka, she has been associated with Little Jewels Nursery, Infant and Junior School since 1990-serving as Director and Vice Principal before becoming Principal in 2021.
She has also held several notable leadership roles, including Past President of the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, Past President of Club 111 of Dhaka, Zonta International, District Treasurer of Zonta International District 25, and President of the SAARC Women’s Association, Dhaka Chapter.

After completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dhaka, Ms. Fouzia Sultana Hasan joined the faculty of Holy Cross College in 1992. For thirty remarkable years, she nurtured generations of students with her wisdom, empathy, and unwavering dedication until her retirement in 2022.

Currently based in Canada, Ms. Selina Parveen Biswas serves with the Federal Government of Canada, continuing her lifelong dedication to education and public service. She earned her Master of Education from the University of Ottawa, building upon her strong academic foundation from Bangladesh.
Before moving abroad in 2009, she spent nineteen years as an Assistant Professor of English at Holy Cross College, where she inspired countless students through her teaching, mentorship, and compassion. An alumna of the University of Dhaka, she holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English.
Deeply connected to her alma mater, Ms. Biswas has long been involved with the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, serving as its President for two terms. A gracious Spartan, she continues to embody the Crossian spirit of intellect, integrity, and global connection.

Ms. Sabikun Nahar Khan Taji completed her schooling and college years at Holy Cross before earning her Honours and Master’s degrees in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. She began her career as a teacher before channeling her creativity into entrepreneurship, founding Design and Divulge, a clothing boutique that participated in local and international fairs.
Dedicated to community service, Ms. Taji is an active member of Rotary International, a Past President of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Urbana, and a supporter of Alok Shikkhaloy, a school for underprivileged children. She continues to engage in projects that promote education and empowerment.
A compassionate Trojan, Ms. Taji embodies warmth, creativity, and a spirit of service-qualities she now shares with her beloved grandchildren between Bangladesh and Australia.

Ms. Farhana Ferdausi has been serving as the Executive Director of Topaz International Ltd, an indenting house, since 2004. She began her career at North South University as a Registration Officer (1993–2001) and later worked as Assistant Registrar at the BGMEA Institute of Fashion & Technology (2002–2003).
A long-standing member of the Holy Cross College Alumnae Association, she first joined as Treasurer in 1989 and went on to serve as President in 2011 and again in 2019. She continues to contribute as a dedicated Board Member.

She currently serves as Women Affairs Secretary of Mohammadpur Zone, DMP, and is the Co-founder of Shariq Foundation Bangladesh, promoting education and empowerment.

Ms. Khadija Nahar Rita currently serves as Joint News Editor at Boishakhi Television, where she has been working since 2008. With a journalism career spanning 25 years, she is widely recognized for her dedication, credibility, and impact in broadcast and print media.
She holds BSS (Honours) and MSS degrees in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. Her journey in journalism began during her university years as a freelance journalist, followed by professional roles at Daily Ajker Kagoj, Daily Sangbad, and Ekushe Television, before joining Boishakhi Television. Over the years, she has received numerous prestigious recognitions, including the UNICEF Meena Award, PANOS Media Award, DRU–Grameenphone Best Reporting Award, PROGGA Tobacco Control Journalism Award, and ATJFB Award, among others.
A proud Crossian, Ms. Rita traces the roots of her journalistic dream back to Holy Cross College, where she won first place in a letter-writing competition for the readers of Weekly 2000—a moment that shaped her path long before it became her profession. A committed Spartan, she continues to uphold the Holy Cross spirit through truth-seeking, courage, and integrity in journalism.

Ms. Urmi Ghosh (Nitol), a 2012 alumna of Holy Cross College, currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Department of Music, University of Dhaka, and has been working as a Music Instructor at Bangladesh Shishu Academy since 2020. Her work reflects a strong commitment to music, education, and social awareness.
Since her student life, she has been actively engaged in social advocacy, focusing on child education, hygiene awareness among street children, and women’s empowerment. She worked as a YES (Youth Engagement and Support) member and later as a concerned citizen under Transparency International Bangladesh, and was also involved with Dhaka YES Theatre, performing street dramas to raise awareness on issues such as acid violence, mobocracy, rape, dowry, oppression, and extrajudicial killings.
From 2014 to 2019, she served as a full-time anti-corruption activist, and since 2016 has been a volunteer with the Right to Know Campaign. As a musician and social advocate, she believes in empathy, truthfulness, and harmony as pathways toward a more just world.

A spirited Crossian, Ms. Shashwoti Mohanta Sneha completed her Higher Secondary studies at Holy Cross College in 2021 and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Jagannath University. Alongside her academics, she performs as a vocal artist at Bangladesh Betar and serves as an Executive at G17 UAC Bangladesh, where she actively promotes youth engagement and sustainable development goals.
